Nike Air Max 95 St. Valentine

The Nike Air Max 95 was the first of its kind when it was released in 1995.Nike revolutionized running shoe when it released Air Max 1 in 1987 being the first shoe to have visible Air Max cushioning.The Nike Air Max 95 was the first shoe in history to have forefoot and heel Air Max cushioning. Last week we told you about the Nike Court Force High St. Valentine’s Day, now here’s another Valentine’s shoe from Nike – the Nike Air Max 95 St. Valentine.

This white sneaker features hearts embossed all-over the shoe, along with red trim and a red heart on the tongue tag. The heart pattern throughout the shoes is so subtle that these shoes would be okay to wear anytime. If you are a fan of the AM 95, these are a nice option.A reissue of one of the most beloved sneakers of all time, the Neon Nike Air Max 95 Retro is faithful to the original with it’s Cool Grey to Black nubuck upper and Neon accents.

I like this new Nike Air Jordan Fusion XX that features premium materials and the XX’s marquee laser highlights. All in all, I think this is a really cool design. Jordan Brand keeps the women in mind with this kids exclusive AJF20. Although it’s not exactly the quite of Cheetah, you may have had in mind its better this way. The smooth black leather that covers the upper actually has black tonal Cheetah prints on it. It’s actually my favorite part of this shoe; kind of looks like a live Cheetah got an up close and personal feel. The toe box is covered in synthetic black horsehair for some added texture and a plus for all the animal lovers out there. These just released at Extra Butter for all you NY heads, everyone else check your local JB accounts.But when the world’s most famous athlete becomes even remotely involved in any form of sporting or business activity, it’s fodder for much speculation.

Save Darfur Air Force Ones

You can check out the Save Darfur Nike  Air Force 1  and other shoes at Van’s MySpace page linked here.Custom designer Van has created the Air Force Ones posted above to support the Save Darfur Coalition. This organization has gather support from 130 organizations who provide humanitarian aid to Sudanese families while advocating for a resolution to the atrocities in Darfur. It is great to see Van turn a serious philanthropic effort into a fantastic pair of custom sneakers.

Van’s depiction of Sudanese children shows the bleak state of affairs in Sudan. The stark black/gray/white relief used on the two children is representative of the unsafe conditions for men, women and children who are leaving the region for surrounding nations. Van uses the green/white symbol for the Save Darfur Coalition as the background for the shoe’s heel. Nike Year of the Rat Wildwood 90 Free Trail

Being born a Rat is nothing to be ashamed of. In China, the Rat is respected and considered a courageous, enterprising person.Every year, Nike creates shoes dedicated to the Chinese New Year. According to the Chinese Calendar, February 7, 2008 is Chinese New Year and this year is the Year of the Rat.

Here’s the latest shoe from Nike depicting the Rat theme – the Wildwood 90 Free Trail. This sneaker is a hybrid of the Wildwood, Air Max 90 and Free Trail and comes in two colorways.

Both colorways feature a laser printed leather upper. The white colorway has white “rat fur, while the grey version is made with suede. I prefer the white by far. The grey shoe is too drab and just plain ugly.

The Chinese symbol for the word “rat” is printed in red on each shoe. These shoes are available right now at select Nike retailers, such as Juice and Limited Edition. Via HB and Fatboy.so it is essential to check the calendar to find the exact date on which each Rat year actually begins.

Nike Air Max 1 – 2008 Fall Medal Pack

It’s all about the details in making these shoes stand out.The Nike Fall Medal Pack releasing this year will include three versions of the Nike Air Max 1. The colorways are basic for the most part – using white, black and brown as the three different color schemes.

The black shoe has the Gold Swoosh and trim. The Brown shoe has Silver, while the White version has Bronze. The only color combination that I’m not thrilled about is the Brown/Silver. The colors just don’t seem to mesh well together at all. I would have much rather seen a grey sneaker with the Silver accents.Each shoe features a metallic Swoosh representing the three Olympic medal colors – Gold, Silver and Bronze.
